TRANSLATION

Dear Class,
Please upload one (1) blog entry about the best part of your Thanksgiving Holiday. Don't forget that bland nouns and empty adjectives drain both the writer and the reader. Be creative! Use your imagination! Fully express your thoughts and feelings! Use your senses - What did you see? smell? feel? taste? hear?

The assignment is due on next Monday. Remember, it's 100% A+ if you do it, and a 0% F if you don't.

I'll see you at Fun Day tomorrow down at American Memorial Park. It'll be so much fun!:D

Have a Happy, Happy Thanksgiving with all your friends, family and loved ones! (Especially you, Angie!) & Let's not forget who we should be truly grateful to - our Father in Heaven:)

Korean Translations

Hello class!

Thank you so much for working hard on the Korean translations in class today. I know it's quite time/energy consuming at first, but like I shared with you in class today, this will develop your constructive reading and comprehension skills, as well as your writing skills. Taking apart each and every word in the sentence helps you work through all the grammar you've inputed in your brains without you even knowing it! With this thorough analysis of reading and writing in very detailed aspects, you will be able to read, understand, and write about any topic in the world! (Bring it on, rocket science!!)

For homework, please upload the edited version of your Korean translation on your blogs. I read some of the ones from the tenth grade class, and I was so impressed at the smoothness of your writings! Soon, we'll be able to read and write as smoothly in both English and Korean:) Hallelujah!

Keep up the hard work! It'll definitely pay off soon and very soon!

Reminders: For those of you that forgot to upload your poems from the last class, don't forget to do so today! If not, you'll get zero (0) points for the assignment! Also, please don't forget to add comments on all your classmates blogs, as well as this one. I just want to make sure we're communicating fully both in the classroom and online:)

See you on Friday!
Good luck on all your quizzes this week:)

Getting Ready for Thanksgiving!

Hi Everyone! Wow! It's been sooooooooo long since I've spoken to you online!

As we worked hard in the class today writing our Thanksgiving poems, please type it up and post it on your blogs to receive full credit! Your poem must be at least 10 lines long, have vibrant, details nouns and adjectives, and your blog posts must have beautiful colors that portray the meaning of your Thanksgiving poems.

The poems that you wrote & decorated in class today will be posted on the classroom board for you next week:)

So here's a BIG THANK YOU for all your hard work!

Keep your blessings flowing to everyone around you & to the ends of the earth:)

Have a wonderful weekend!

New Homework?!

Hello, everyone!

Thank you for working so hard on your homeworks! I know it may have seemed like tedious work, but always remember, practice makes perfect:) But please remember to turn in all your asssignments on time in whatever class you may be in. Honesty and hardwork is one of the most important characteristics that we should have as Christians!

I hope you all had fun at the first day of Missions Convention today. I had hoped to see more of you dressed up for the fesitivities, but I'm sure we'll have fun for the rest of the Missions Convention Week.

I know how all of you waited so earnestly for homework;) but I'm afraid we won't be able to have any homework this week:( I'm sure it's the same in all your classes as well - There is no homework this week to encourage you to attend the Missions Services held every evening at GCA sanctuary, beginning at 7 PM. I also heard you'll be getting extra credit for attending, so don't miss your chance!

I apologize again for the NO HOMEWORK, but I'm sure we'll have more than enough time next week to catch up.

So, I'll see you tomorrow at chapel again!
Enjoy your homework-less nights, and don't forget to pray for your classroom's countries everyday! Happy Missions Week:D

"If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord." -Romans 14:8-

Hello, class!

I hope the schedule change didn't confuse you guys - 9th grade needs to go to the library during their 2nd period, while 10th grade will have ESL class in the library during 3rd period. I also pray that the typhoon won't hit us so bad! From the pictures of the weather that I just saw, it looks like it could be pretty bad.

Today's Assignment
Everybody should have their Top 500 English Words Used List. From it, you need to choose 4 groups of 25 words (4 x 25 = 100 words) and use it to create a blog entry. The blog entry can be a story, a diary, a reflection, or anything that you desire to write about - as long as it includes 100 words from the list.

It may seem hard at first, but you'll be very surprised to see how often you actually use the words from the list in everyday life! Keep the English flowing~~~~~

I'll miss you guys over the weekend:)
Have a good one (& stay out of the rain)!
You all deserve a nice break from all the exam-taking:)

See ya!
